Those concepts matter, but they become meaningful only when students can see how people use them under pressure. Entrepreneurship is ultimately practiced through decisions—what to build, whom to serve, what to risk, when to adapt, and how to turn an idea into an organization capable of creating value.
This casebook grew from that shared conviction. The three of us teach entrepreneurship and business at Chabot College, and our perspectives have also been shaped by building companies, advising organizations, developing markets, leading teams, and confronting the uncertainty that accompanies enterprise. Our paths are different, but our educational purpose is the same: entrepreneurship should be practical, demanding, accessible, and connected to the choices students will face beyond the classroom.
