    Activities

Visual Impact Audit: Fina business-related visual online (e.g., a chart, graph, ad, or an infographic). Evaluate the effectiveness of the message. What message and emotion does it convey? How effective is it? How might this visual impact consumer behavior?

Choose the Best Communication Tool: Choose one of the situations below and choose the best communication method (e.g., infographic, video, etc.). WHY is this the best method?

    1. You are pitching a new product to investors
    2. You are showing how a new product works more effectively than a similar product of a well-known brand
    3. You want to persuade employees to enroll in long-term care insurance.
    4. You want new mothers to take a first aid class.

Use AI to Create Visual Communication: Choose a page in this text that has an ineffective visual or that could use more visual elements. Create a new visual or replacement using AI (e.g., Canva Magic, DALL-E, ChatGPT, CoPilot, etc.)

Design a Storyboard: Create a storyboard for a 60-second commercial for a fabricated product of your choice. Map out the visuals, narration, and key messages. View the Canva tutorial for help.
